ANG has investigate an anonymous tip that the "CALIFORNIA LIFELINE" project
is running some sort of scam operation.

At the web site www.californialifeline.com that is where low-income can get
a free phone with a low monthly rate. We have uncovered what appears to be a well
engineered fraud.

Everything appears to work seamlessly for those who wish to sign up
for the free phone and low income" low rate phone service.

BUT what we have discovered is that after an applicant makes it through
the lengthy process of getting a pin sent, so they may upload supporting
income verification a MAJOR glitch is programmed to occur.


the following Browsers are said they must be used:

# Chrome 22.0.0 or newer
# Firefox 16.0.0 or newer
# Safari 5.0 (Windows only) or newer

Our techs found this a little rediculous, that this is not revealed
immmediately on entrance to the site.
Also most low income people do not use the latest versions of everything,
of which they pretend to require such software (a farce sto say the least).

Then we discovered more subterfuge.

AFter you enter all info and finally get to the confirm page and click on "CONFIRM"
a page comes up that says

"You did something Wrong"

Our techs looked into this and found that none of the browsers worked.
A phone call to the tech people of "California Lifeline" replied
saying "only Internet explorer works".

How laughable that they can update everything to use only the latest versions
of the browsers, but can' seem to be able to get them to work... at the final
part of finishing the online application.

The Governors office was contacted and nothing was done to correct this.

We surmise that they are purposely causing the slow down to keep people
from actually getting a phone.
Perhaps they do this to get Federal funds by showing that they have applicants.
But conveniently they cannot follow through so the funds are received, but not
used for the phones...

We could not get anyone to tell us this about that so it is only an assumption.
Perhaps we will find out soon as we dig a little deeper....

WE find this a deplorable act of taking advantage of the underprivileged and
hope government investigation will be soon to bring down the perpetrators
responsible.

We bring sad news. Last week, our generous green friend, the Demonoid, was met with a state sponsored Distributed Denial of Service attack. This is the same type of attack that many citizens of the world, including many Anons, have been sent to prison over. These illegal actions were then followed up with a raid by Ukraine authorities. These operations coincided with the Vice Prime Minister of the Ukraine's visit to the United States.

The action was spearheaded by the usual cabal of lobbyists, SOPA/ACTA supporters, and their bribed politicians. We question what the motives for this action really are? It is clear to us that politics and lobbyists are again getting in the way of progress.

A future without public trackers is a bleak one my friends. For most of us, Demonoid and others like it who have fallen, have been about more than free music or movies. They are an incredibly powerful educational Tool facilitating something better than just open piracy. Mega-Trackers provide a new model for distribution. Modern musicians and other artists have begun to embrace the medium. Meanwhile corporations and governments continue to fear it. Anonymous will simply not tolerate a world without it.

In retaliation for your criminal acts against us and the free flow of information, we have already begun an operation against those responsible. Lazers are already being fired.

We will also be working hard on restoring what once was. We promise to work on this goal by any means necessary . Where one has fallen, many will rise to take their place.

Le gouvernement d'occupation de Tsolakoglou* a supprimé ma capacité de survie qui se basait sur une retraite digne que j'ai moi même payé (sans l'aide de l'état) durant 35 ans.

Compte tenu du fait que mon âge ne me permet pas de réagir individuellement de façon dynamique (bien que si un autre grec prenait une Kalashnikov je l'aurais suivi), je ne peux pas trouver d'autre solution à part une fin digne avant d'être obligé de chercher dans les poubelles pour me nourrir.

Die Besatzungsregierung Tsolagoglou hat wortwörtlich die Möglichkeit meines Überlebens auf null gesetzt, die sich auf eine menschenwürdige Rente stützte, für die ich 35 Jahre lang selbst aufkam (ohne jeglichen Zuschuss vom Staat).

Weil ich ein Alter erreicht habe, dass mir nicht die persönliche Möglichkeit gibt um dynamisch zu reagieren (ohne jedoch auszuschließen, dass wenn der erste Grieche ein Kalashnikov ergriffen hätte, ich dann der zweite wäre), finde ich keine andere Lösung als ein würdiges Ende, bevor ich die Mülltonnen durchwühle um mich zu ernähren.

Ich glaube, dass die Jugend ohne Zukunft, eines Tages die Waffen ergreift, und am Platz der Verfassung die nationalen Verräter mit dem Kopf nach unten aufhängen wird, wie die Italiener 1945 mit Mussolini taten (am Platz Loreto in Meiland).

In Greece, a 77 year old pensioner shot himself in Syntagma Square.
In his last letter he explained that the government was robbing him of his dignity and that he had no choice but to commit suicide or start living out of bins. He didn't wanna leave his children with debt and called for the youth to rise up.
In Greece demonstrations are called all over the country and the slogan "We won't let Capitalism kill us" is being raised everywhere.
